Georgian man injured on Mount Athos

A 31-year-old man from Georgia was in critical condition at a Thessaloniki hospital on Monday after he was attacked in Karyes, a settlement in Mount Athos, on Sunday.

The man, who worked in the area, was injured with multiple wounds in his stomach and chest.

Police are investigating the incident.
