Fugitive caught
A 35-year-old man who went on the run after being convicted on charges of drug possession and cultivation was arrested by police in Thessaloniki on Friday.
The man had been sentenced to 16 years in prison as well as a fine of 21,000 euros.
Following an investigation at his home, police discovered two parcels containing 8.6 grams of cannabis.
