Jewelry heist in Katakolo
Police in Katakolo, in the western Peloponnese, were seeking five robbers who used Kalashnikov assault rifles in a jewelry store holdup on Friday.
According to officers, three masked assailants entered the store and ordered the owner to hand over jewelry and cash while their accomplices stood outside firing shots in the air.
The perpetrators fled the scene in two vehicles.
