EOPYY doctors resume normal service

Doctors who work for the National Organization for Healthcare Provision (EOPYY) halted their go-slow protest on Wendesday after being paid the money they were owed for June.

The doctors, who said they were resuming normal service ?in a show of solidarity with Greek society,? asked for a meeting with Alternate Health Minister Marios Salmas to discuss the remaining money they are owed.

The doctors say they are due 260 million euros for services provided this year and 1.11 billion for 2010 and 2011.
