Man killed in drive-by shooting in Peristeri
A man was shot dead in Peristeri, western Athens, early on Friday morning in what police have described as a drive-by shooting.
Officers said that a man on a motorcycle approached on Lassani Street at about 3 a.m. and shot the driver from a close distance.
The man, who was not named, died instantly. Police said he is thought to be an Albanian national.
