Greek media on 24-hour strike Monday over labor laws, contracts

Unions representing journalists and technical staff at radio stations and TV channels are holding a 24-hour strike from 6 a.m. on Monday to protest the ?dismantling? of labor regulations.

The journalists? unions are also protesting a decision by publishers not to sign a collective contract with their employees.

The actions means there will be no media coverage on Monday and no newspapers on Tuesday.
