Greeks fulfill dying wish of fellow Twitter user

Greeks using social networking tool Twitter made one of the last wishes of a fellow user come true on Sunday.

Upon hearing of the death of cancer sufferer Apostolos Ganas, known on Twitter as @moloch82, Greek tweeps – as users of Twitter are known – used the keyword #TolisLovedMaria in their tweets.

Ganas, who had chronicled his illness via Twitter, had asked that his love for his partner Maria become a trending topic on the social networking site after his death.

#TolisLovedMaria was the third most popular keyword after being included by thousands of tweeps in their messages.
