Fake airport websites used to scam users
Electronic crimes squad officers are working with Interpol and Greek civil aviation authorities to investigate four website purporting to belong to Thessaloniki?s Makedonia Airport, on which several users were scammed when trying to make online flight reservations using their credit cards.
The four websites — www.thessaloniki-airport.com, www.thessalonikiairport.com, www.airport-thessaloniki. com and www.thessalonikiairport.org — have been traced to servers in the Netherlands, Britain and the US.
