ATM machine explodes, suspects flee with cash

An explosive device exploded at a National Bank of Greece ATM machine in Aghia Paraskevi, northern Athens, in the early hours of Friday.

According to early reports unknown assailants blew up the ATM machine which was located in a small park area on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street.

Four cars were also damaged in the explosion.

The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
