French President to visit Athens

French President Francois Hollande has accepted an official invitation to visit Athens extended by Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, it was reported on Friday.

The invitation was presented in Brussels within the framework of the European Union’s 27-member summit meeting on Thursday. The exact date of the French President’s visit has yet to be determined.

Meanwhile, speaking to reporters following the summit meeting President Hollande noted that there was still no absolute certainty that Greece will remain in the eurozone.

?One has to remain prudent because nothing is fixed,? Hollande said, Bloomberg reported. ?We don?t yet have a definite answer to this question but we can see that there is a process that enables us to think Greece will remain in the eurozone.?
