Greek and Egyptian presidents reaffirm countries’ strong ties

President Karolos Papoulias (photo) and his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Morsi on Friday reaffirmed the traditionally strong ties that bind the two countries during talks in Cairo.

The two men discussed regional developments including the situation in Syria while Papoulias noted that 145 Greek investments in Egypt were worth a total of 1.5 billion euros.
