NYC’s St Nicholas church set to be rebuilt
Works to rebuild a Greek Orthodox Church destroyed in the 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States will start in a year from now, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Friday.
The reconstruction of Saint Nicholas, which once stood in the shadow of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center, stalled due to disputes over funding and location. The new church will be built across from the southern end of the World Trade Center site.
