School principal faces disciplinary action for installing cameras

A senior high school principal in Elassona faces disciplinary action after installing two micro cameras so he could see if pupils were vandalizing the school.

He installed the cameras after school property was damaged during sit-ins.

Two pupils were detained after being filmed on school grounds.

Authorities are investigating whether the head teacher had notified pupils and staff that the cameras were in operation.
