Documents leaked, not hacked, says police
Finance Ministry documents that were thought to have been stolen earlier this week by the Anonymous group of hackers were in fact leaked by employees of the General Accounting Office, police officials have told Kathimerini.
Sources said that whoever leaked the information attempted to make it look as if Anonymous hacked into the ministry?s Papyrus system.
They added, however, that no digital trace had been found confirming this version of events.
The investigation is due to be completed in the next few days.
