Two detained for stealing metal from railway
A 54-year-old Albanian man and two Greek youths, aged 14 and 17, were detained Tuesday in Kerpini, near Kalavryta in the Peloponnese, for allegedly stripping 6 tons of metal track from a local section of railway.
The sections of track, believed to be worth some 15,000 euros, are believed to have been destined to be melted down and sold.
