Archbishop appeals for ‘inward change’
Archbishop Ieronymos on Thursday appealed to Greeks jaded by the impact of an ongoing crisis to focus on changing their outlook if they want to see change.
?Repent, change the way you think as there can be no outward change without inward change,? Ieronymos told churchgoers at a mass service in the northern city of Serres.
?Values cannot be borrowed and cannot be bestowed by the International Monetary Fund,? Ieronymos added, referring to one of Greece?s three international creditors.
