School hours lost due to protests to be made up, says minister
A total of 182 junior and senior high schools around Greece lost teaching time in October due to protests by pupils, Deputy Education Minister Theodoros Papatheodorou said on Friday.
The lost hours will be made up by cutting back on time spent on excursions and other activities, he added.
If needed, teachers and pupils will have to come into school on Saturdays, Papatheodorou said.
