Man killed by falling tree
A 59-year-old man was crushed to death Tuesday when a tree he had been trying to fell for firewood in a forest near Lykostomo in the prefecture of Pella, northern Greece, fell on him.
The man’s son called an ambulance, which took the man to hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
