Teens arrested over criminal ring ties
A 16-year-old Greek boy was remanded in custody in Lasithi, Crete, late on Friday, on suspicion of participating in a large-scale drug and arms ring that was busted by police last week.
Another teen, aged 17, was also facing charges in connection to the same case and was expected to be held at the Volos juvenile detention center.
The youngsters’ fathers are believed to be the leaders of the ring, while three police officers were also arrested during the operation.
