Bomb goes off at house of former ministry official
A homemade explosive device detonated early Monday at the home of a former Environment Ministry official in Neo Psychico, northern Athens, police said.
Maria Kaltsa, who was general secretary at the ministry, has been implicated in the case of ex-PASOK politician Akis Tsochatzopoulos, who is currently in jail on money-laundering charges.
No one was injured in the blast, which caused minor damage.
Police are investigating.
