Man, 32, charged with string of robberies
Police in Rethymno, Crete, on Thursday arrested a 32-year-old man suspected of pulling off a string of robberies on the same day.
The man allegedly entered two clinics, one gym, a private tuition center and a lingerie shop, stealing one wallet, a woman’s bag and three cell phones. All the stolen items have been returned to their owners. The suspect was scheduled to face a prosecutor Friday.
Police are investigating his involvement in other robberies.
