MP accuses Independent Greeks leader of ‘secret agenda’
Less than a week after defecting from Independent Greeks, MP Yiannis Kourakos on Tuesday accused Panos Kammenos, leader of the right-wing anti-bailout party, of harboring a “secret agenda” to back leftist SYRIZA and steward Greece out of the euro area.
“Mr Kammenos has a secret agenda with SYRIZA and the dollar,” Kourakos told Skai TV.
“The party’s founding charter referred to the EU and remaining in the euro. We cannot be talking about the dollar. This means leaving the EU.”
