Ex-Macedonia governor Psomiadis planning political return
The former governor of central Macedonia, Panayiotis Psomiadis, insisted on Thursday that his political career was not over.
Psomidias, who previously served two terms as Thessaloniki prefect, lost his position as central Macedonia governor after being found guilty of failing to impose a fine on a local fuel trader.
He said he intends to keep “speaking the language of the people.”
Psomidias added that he intends to run in the next local elections, due in 2014, or in national polls, which have to be held by June 2016.
