Man questioned over theft of personal data of 2 mln people

The police’s cyber crimes unit has arrested a man on suspicion of stealing the personal data of 2 million people, officials said on Saturday.

The 47-year old, a Ukrainian, is also suspected of attempting to sell the 2 million files containing e-mail addresses.

During a search of the man’s business in central Athens, police found five hard disks with data. The man was due to appear before a prosecutor.
