Former PM to undergo surgery

Former prime minister Constantine Mitsotakis was admitted to an Athens hospital late on Wednesday.

The 94-year-old veteran politician and honorary New Democracy president was expected to undergo surgery due to a fracture of the left hip joint over the next few days.
