Probe into army fund finds major mismanagement
An investigation by Defense Ministry inspectors has found evidence of significant financial mismanagement at the armed forces’ social security fund.
According to the inspectors’ report, the fund had been distributing dividends to beneficiaries even when it was in debt, leaving it some 436 million euros in the red.
