Some municipalities to get funding for public schools’ heating oil
Some Greek municipalities will get a cash injection in order to cover the added cost of heating oil at public schools, Alternate Finance Minister Christos Staikouras said on Tuesday.
The money, totaling 7 million euros, will mainly go to mountainous areas, where lower temperatures mean there is a greater need for heating oil at schools. Staikouras said the funds could not be used to cover other costs.
