Bank employees strike over proposed Hellenic Postbank sale
Some banks will not operate on Wednesday due to a 24-hour strike called by the Greek Federation of Bank Employee Unions, OTOE. The umbrella union opposes the sale of the healthy part of state-controlled Hellenic Postbank.
OTOE is organizing a rally in front of the Hellenic Postbank’s central branch in Athens at 11 a.m.
