Motorists protest against new tolls in Pieria

Some 2,000 protesters gathered at a new toll station that went into operation at Aiginio, in Pieria, northern Greece, on Monday.

The demonstrators were rallying against having to pay extra for their daily commutes.

The protesters were eventually dispersed by local police who used tear gas and made 11 arrests.
