Suspected rapist detained in Koropi
A 31-year-old man alleged to have raped and robbed at least three women after luring them into his car on days of public transport strikes was detained on multiple charges of rape and robbery on Wednesday in Koropi, eastern Attica.
According to police, the man confessed to three rapes in Dionysos, northern Athens.
The suspect allegedly used different vehicles when he approached would-be victims at bus stops before driving them to isolated spots where he allegedly raped and robbed them.
