Caregivers for the elderly call two-day strike

Caregivers working in the Help at Home scheme, which provides assistance for the sick and elderly, are to go on strike on Wednesday and Thursday.

They are demanding several months’ worth of unpaid wages and want the government to confirm that it will maintain the program, which has been running for about 10 years.
