State streamlining to restart next month
The government is expected to begin a new round of public organization mergers in March.
Reports on Friday suggested that of 1,400 bodies that come under the jurisdiction of 14 ministries, 700 are to be merged and 73 closed down completely.
The changes will affect 13,000 employees, who will be placed in a labor mobility scheme.
