Oversight being stepped up in public administration
The government has decided to strengthen the monitoring of the public sector by putting the general inspector for public administration, Leandros Rakintzis, in charge of the body of public administration inspectors.
Administrative Reform Minister Antonis Manitakis on Friday asked for checks aimed at rooting out corrupt civil servants to be stepped up.
