Police operation unearths weapons, drugs
olice on Crete on Friday arrested six suspects on charges of illegal arms and drug possession following a large-scale operation at the home and warehouse facilities of a family of livestock farmers in the village of Atsipades in Iraklio.
Police officers confiscated about 20 barrels containing hashish, four Kalashnikov assault rifles, two pistols and over 1,500 bullets.
