Larissa priest’s sentences upheld for pillaging collection box
An appeals court in Larissa, central Greece, on Thursday upheld a two-year prison sentence, suspended for three years, against a priest from nearby Karditsa after finding him guilty of stealing the equivalent of 65,655 euros from his parish’s collection box between 1996 and 1998.
