Cypriot president to hold talks in Athens on Monday

Recently elected Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades is due to conduct an official visit to Greece on Monday, his first to a foreign country.

Anastasiades is due to meet Parliament Speaker Evangelos Meimarakis and then President Karolos Papoulias before holding talks with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. The two leaders are due to hold a joint press conference.

Anastasiades will later meet with the leaders of all the other parliamentary parties apart from Independent Greeks and Golden Dawn.
