Two face prosecutor following arrest during protest organized by Indignant group

An Athens prosecutor on Monday heard the case against two 31-year-old men who were arrested on Sunday night during a rally in Syntagma Square.

The protest was organized by the Indignant group, a grassroots, anti-austerity movement that gained widespread popularity in the summer of 2011 but fizzled out after a few months.

Two men were arrested during minor scuffles with riot police on Sunday, one for kicking a riot officer and the other for attempting to climb over protective railings placed in front of Parliament.
