Microsoft HQ evacuated following bomb threat
Microsoft’s headquarters in Athens were evacuated following a bomb threat on Thursday.
An anonymous call about a bomb on the US company’s offices in the northern suburb of Maroussi was made at 9 a.m. No more details were given.
Police have closed off the area and are investigating.
Assailants attacked the offices of Microsoft in June last year, driving a van through the front doors and setting off an incendiary device that burned the building entrance. No one was injured.
