Police find anarchist material in Athens home of missing suspect
Police said on Thursday they found anarchist banners and literature at the central Athens home of the 35-year-old in whose rented car they discovered two Kalashnikov assault rifles, four stun grenades and a large number of bullets earlier this week.
Officers said that banners and posters found in the Exarchia apartment declared support for Lambros Fountas, a Revolutionary Struggle member killed in a shootout with police two years ago, and Simos Seisidis, an anarchist who was cleared of taking part in a bank robbery last year but who lost his leg after being shot by police.
Police added that they found printed collections of Revolutionary Struggle proclamations.
A computer and two memory cards were also seized from the apartment.
The 35-year-old is being sought.
