Retired policeman caught with 12 kilos of heroin
A retired policeman was arrested on drug possession charges in Igoumenitsa, northwestern Greece, late on Tuesday.
According to reports customs officers discovered 12 kilos of heroin hidden in the suspect’s car. The drugs were allegedly divided into 22 lots and hidden in the vehicle’s backseats and boot compartments.
The suspect was allegedly heading to Italy.
