OKANA employees protest outside Health Ministry

Workers at the Organization Against Drugs (OKANA) gathered outside the Health Ministry on Tuesday to protest inadequate funding of the state-run rehabilitation centers as well as poor labor conditions.

Protesters blocked traffic on Aristotelous street in central Athens, demanding a meeting with Health Minister Andras Lykourentzos.

Protesters left the site after the minister agreed to a meeting on Wednesday at 12 p.m.
