Giorgos Kouris remanded in custody
Giorgos Kouris was remanded in custody on Wednesday following his testimony before an investigative magistrate.
The owner of Avriani newspaper and Alter television channel is facing charges of owing the state some 1.5 million euros in relation to the now-defunct Alter station.
Also remanded in custody on the same day was Kouris’s son, Andreas, a member of Alter’s former board of directors.
