Larissa gas station hit by fuel thieves twice in as many days

A gas station owner in the remote village of Omorfochori, in the region of Larissa, central Greece, saw his establishment robbed twice in as many days, seemingly by the same perpetrators, according to reports.

The thieves first hit the gas station in the early hours of Sunday, siphoning some 250 liters of gas from the station’s storage tanks and making off with other supplies, only to return two days later for more of the same.

The cost of the double robbery is thought to exceed 10,000 euros.
