Toddler drowns in Halkida
A 4-year-old girl died on Wednesday after falling off rocks in the coastal area of Aghia Marina, near Halkida, and into the sea.
A policeman dived into the sea but was too late to save the girl, who had wondered away from her parents while playing on the rocks.
It remained unclear whether the girl drowned or died of injuries sustained during her fall.
