Athens mayor visits Beijing in a bid to improve ties, boost tourism
Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis is conducting an official visit to Beijing in a bid to improve relations between the two cities and boost Chinese tourism to the Greek capital.
Kaminis and Beijing Mayor Wang Ansun are to sign a memorandum of understanding for tourism, business and culture, Kaminis’s office said.
The mayor is being accompanied by 20 Greek businessmen on the trip.
