Ioannina hospital helps parish food program
The management of the Ioannina University Hospital in northwestern Greece announced on Tuesday that it will be donating meals to the food program run by the Perivleptou parish.
Hospital chief Vassilis Dimopoulos told the Athens-Macedonia News Agency that “not a single portion of food will go to the trash” and that all extra patient meals will be donated to the parish, which feeds more than 500 poor and unemployed people a day.
