UN envoy to meet with Greece, FYROM officials
United Nations special envoy Matthew Nimetz has asked negotiators from Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) to meet with him in New York for talks on April 8 and 9.
The United Nations said that the two sides, represented by Adamantios Vassilakis and Zoran Jolevski, had accepted the invitation with the aim of continuing talks to find a “mutually acceptable” solution to the countries’ name dispute.
