Man nabbed in Thessaloniki over investment scam
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in Thessaloniki on suspicion of scamming 20 victims out of 900,000 euros, police said on Wednesday.
The suspect is alleged to have convinced his victims to buy nonexistent investment packages managed by an insurance company.
He was allegedly working with two accomplices, a 35-year-old woman and 59-year-old man.
