Police statistics show drop in robberies, break-ins in first quarter of 2013

There was a drop in robberies and break-ins in the first quarter of the year, according to statistics released by the police on Monday.

The Greek police said that there had been 288 fewer robberies in the first three months of this year, compared to the same period in 2012.

There was an even bigger drop in break-ins, which fell by 4,664. Also, 249 fewer cars were stolen, police said.
