Four men in deadly Corinth shootout all escapees, say police
Crime scene investigators on Thursday confirmed that four men participated in a shootout with policemen following a taverna holdup outside Corinth last month, in which 25-year-old motorist Katerina Zogali was killed after being caught in the crossfire.
An examination of an abandoned van identified as having been used as a getaway vehicle confirmed that there were four people involved in the shootout and that they are all members of the group of eight inmates who staged a violent escape from a prison in Trikala, central Greece, earlier in March.
They are still at large.
